This piece is turned out of plum (fruit wood). It is a multi-axis turned form or off-centre turning. I enjoy doing these pieces as they are quite a challenge. I entered this piece into Kawerau Woodskills Festival in the off-centre turning section and received a Highly Commended Prize.
